time of silent beauty

Twenty years of the last century, has always fascinated me! Not only  because Coco Chanel created her eternal little black dress, but also because of the incredible actresses who were in that period  the icons of Hollywood Babylon. Costumes were sumptuous, seductive and fatal. Everything was quite fabulous, dreamy and far away! All of the actresses  look the same with long hair curled rich, intense make up on the eyes, pale face and all that dark lipstick... new dimensions of the miraculous world! Here are a few of my favorite:

Dvadeste godine prošlog stoljeća su me oduvijek fascinirale! Ne samo iz tog razloga jer je tada Coco Chanel kreirala svoju vječnu malu crnu haljinu, nego i zbog nevjerojatnih glumica koje su u tom periodu bile ikone hollywoodskog babilona. Kostimi su bili raskošni,  zavodljivi i fatalni. Sve je djelovalo bajkovito, sneno i  daleko! Glumice svu sve od reda izgledale isto , duge kose bogato uvijene, intenzivna šminka na očima, blijedog lica i na sve to taman ruž, nove dimenzije čudesnog svijeta!  Izdvojila sam nekoliko meni najdražih:

Marion Davies

Gloria Swanson
