Christmas Eve

This was my Chistmas Eve; My boyfriend and I decorate our little tree, enjoying the light of scented candles, wrapped gifts and the remaining listening favorite Christmas songs!
Although it was cold, we walked the sleepy town that is immersed in a Christmas atmosphere!

DIY your Christmas gifts

Budući da sam neizlječivi kampanjac, uvijek 5 do dvanaest krenem u kupnju darova ili shvatim da nekome nisam nešto kupila! Tako i ove godine! Što pokloniti, a da se darovi za Božić ne pretvore u kliše; parfemi, čarape, džemperi, bombonjere i mirisini štapići. Zaplovila sam prostranstvom interneta (blagoslovljena tehnoligija) i pronašla pregršt ideja za predivne poklone ispod blagdanskog bora! Međutim postoji kvaka  - morate ih napraviti sami! 

Since I am incurable campaigner, always five to twelve I go to buy gifts, or realize that I did`t buy something! Same story  this year! What to give for  Christmas and not to turn into a cliche: perfumes, socks, sweaters, candy and incense sticks. I sailed vastnes of the Internet (blessed Technologies) and found a handful of ideas for beautiful holiday gifts under the pine! However there is a catch - you have to do them yourself!

Scrubs:

creating your own body scrub using brown sugar, granulated sugar, oil and a scent of your choice!

 Recipe: Skin-sweet sugar body scrub
1 cup sugar (brown or white sugar)
1/2 cup olive oil (I have tried this recipe with other oils, and olive oil is by far the best choice)
A few drops of scented essential oil
1 glass jar

How to make a Sugar Scrub

1. Pour 3 cups sugar into bowl
2. add 1 cup almond oil
3. Stir until sugar is moist
4. add several drops of scented oil. I like my scrubs pretty smelly, so I add about 20 drops. (I found scented oil at Whole Foods)
5. Scoop into container (make several small ones using baby food jars for group gifts)

Candy Cane Scrub

You will need:
A lidded jar or flip-top container
Brown sugar
Cooking oil (we used almond)
Peppermint essential oil or fresh peppermint sprigs, ground
Optional decorations: ribbon, gift tags, etc.

December inspiration post & some my moments

Volim moje male rituale, pamtim trenutke i veselim se ljudima koje volim...volim moje ruževe, zeleni čaj, blagdanski ugođaj! Prošli tjedan sam završila sve svoje poslove za ovu godinu, pa vam želim dočarati neke od mojih prošlotjednih trenutaka kroz moje fotografije. 

Sada sam se polako prebacila na onu ugodnu blagdansku fazu kad mi je jedina briga da se dobro naspavam, razmišjam kako ću ove godine okititi bor, što ću pokloniti prijateljima, roditeljima, bratu (da da, nisam još kupila poklone)  i kakvim kolačima napuniti blagdanski stol. Nije me briga ni za kalorije, ni za loše vrijeme, jednostavno ću uživati u kuhanom vinu sa klinčićima, gledati božićne filmove, fotkati najdraže blagdanske trenutke, osmjehe na licu dragih ljudi i nastojat zadržati ta sjećanja zauvijek! <3
